The plates are in good condition with normal signs of wear in the glaze.
There is a difference in the stamps on the bottom of Kronjyden plates (often known under the frame parts as Relief or Cordial designed by Jens H. Quistgaard).
The difference is due to the fact that the production changed ownership and factory over the years, and parts of the frame may therefore be completely unstamped or bear different marks.
The different stamps and periodsKronjyden / Nissen (approx. 1959-1972)
The oldest parts were manufactured at the factory in Randers under the name Kronjyden or by the company Nissen (owner Rich. Nissen).
The bottom may show a "Kronjyden" stamp, a "Nissen" mark or a combination. Bing & Grondahl (1972-1988): In 1972, Bing & Grondahl took over the production, after which the name Kronjyden was discontinued, and they continued to produce the pieces (for example under the names Relief and Cordial) with B&G stamps. Unstamped pieces: It is very common for Jens H. Quistgaard's stoneware pieces from this era that some plates only have an embossed form number (e.g. a number) or no visible stamps at all.
