Bio:
Kähler’s stoneware production of the 1930s is distinguished by experimental glaze techniques and richly decorative surfaces. The cow horn technique allowed the maker to actively shape the movement of the glaze, resulting in dynamic, flame-like patterns. Smaller vases such as this combine technical mastery with strong visual impact and are emblematic of the period’s ceramic expression.
