Bio:
Mari Simmulson (1911–2000) was one of the leading designers at Upsala Ekeby and a key figure in Swedish art ceramics of the mid-20th century. Her work is characterised by decorative surfaces, rhythmic patterns, and a confident balance between form and glaze, often with a distinctly sculptural and artistic expression.
