Rare and large jug in stoneware with a characteristic organic, pear-shaped body, pronounced spout and integrated handle. Finished with Saxbo’s classic matte to softly lustrous glaze in deep brown tones with subtle surface variation. The form is sculptural and well balanced, representing one of Saxbo’s most sought-after expressions.

Bio:
Saxbo Keramik was founded in Denmark in 1930 and is regarded as one of the most important studios in Danish studio ceramics. The workshop is known for its high technical standards, experimental glaze work and carefully balanced forms. These jugs are among Saxbo’s most iconic and collectible models and were produced in limited numbers, making large examples particularly rare today.
