Bernard Rooke (born 1938) is a key figure in British studio pottery. He established his own workshop in the 1960s and became known for his sculptural, architectural forms and richly textured stoneware, often hand-built. His works are represented in numerous museum collections and are highly sought after by collectors of British modernist ceramics.
