Founded in 1793 in Stoke-on-Trent, Minton became one of the most distinguished English makers of porcelain and faience during the 19th century. Known for technical excellence and richly ornamented decoration—often drawing on Asian influences and Victorian taste—the factory produced tableware for aristocratic households and international exhibitions. Today, Minton pieces remain highly collectible for their craftsmanship and historical significance.
