Bio:
Ilse Claesson (1902–1999) worked at Rörstrand from the 1920s through the 1940s and became a key figure in the factory’s decorative artistic direction. She is renowned for her hand-painted patterns featuring stylised botanical motifs, organic lines, and soft tonal transitions. Her works from the 1930s and 40s are especially sought after for their strong Art Deco character and refined craftsmanship.
